ABOUT HEALTHYSA HealthySA is a
South Australian Department of Health initiative. It aims to improve the
health of South Australians by providing easy access to quality
information about human health and wellbeing.
Our purpose
The internet is increasingly becoming the
source for health information, but finding reliable, accurate
information from the mass of online information available can be risky
and time consuming.
In line with the South Australian Strategic
Plan 2004, HealthySA aims to help South Australians be healthier
and fitter. HealthySA provides a single
point of entry to quality assured, informative, up-to-date and locally
relevant information that can provide answers to your healthcare
questions.
HealthySA links to
leading health information providers, government agencies as well as
peak health organisations, educational and research institutions.
The responsibility for managing content links
is undertaken by the HealthySA Reference Group, which draws expertise
from within and outside the South Australian Department of Health.
